Applicants
International applicants to the university are required to meet the same admissions standards and requirements as domestic students applying for our undergraduate or postgraduate programs. To be eligible for enrollment, candidates must submit a fully completed and signed application form. Furthermore, international applicants who have obtained their degree from an educational institution outside of the Republic of Zambia will need to submit original or certified sealed copies of their graduation certificate, academic transcript, or any other relevant documentation that confirms their successful completion of a secondary or postsecondary educational program equivalent to the qualifications awarded in Zambia.
Announcement: The application process for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs offered through distance learning is open and ongoing.
Accommodation for International Students
The University provides self-catering student accommodations on a first-come, first-served basis, with a preference given to international students. Students may reserve their accommodations online once 60% of their semester or term fees have been deposited into the University account.

Obtaining a Study Permit
A study permit is issued to foreign nationals intending to study at recognized learning institutions in Zambia. Recognized institutions are those that are registered and accredited by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and offer programs listed on the Zambia Qualifications Framework (ZQF).
All foreign nationals who have been accepted to study at Justo Mwale University, a registered and accredited educational institution in Zambia, are required to apply for a Student Permit before traveling to Zambia.
A Study Permit
Study permits are granted to non-Zambians wishing to pursue their studies in Zambia. Applicants who are not residents of Zambia must submit their applications from outside the country and ensure they have obtained a study permit prior to enrolling at Justo Mwale University.
